Two different scenarios were simulated for the CARIBE WAVE 2023. Each participating country selected the scenario that best fits their objectives.

The first scenario simulated a tsunami generated by a 7.6 magnitude earthquake, located in the Gulf of Honduras. The second scenario simulated a tsunami caused by the collapse of a flank of the Mount Pelée volcano.

Support of the Venezuelan Radio Club (RVC) and the National Network of Emergency (RNE) to the Exercise

The RCV and the RNE provided logistical and material support in the area of communications, through which all the Control Posts were linked with the numerous local, regional, state and national Directorates, of the Fire Department and Civil Protection.
